VILLA KENDIL

Villa Kendil is situated on quite village of Seminyak on the northern area of Kuta, just on the side of the main road from Kuta to Kerobokan. Villa Kendil is designed around traditional Indonesia architecture and is enhanced by modern amenities and western comfort. Villa Kendil represent the tranquility of personal walled compounds giving guests the ultimate feeling of comfort and privacy and mark the beginning of the general trend for a more personalized concept in holiday accommodation.

Villa Kendill is around 25 minutes drive from Bali International airport, 10 minutes drive to Kuta shopping center and within walking distance are various shops and local restaurants along the two sides of the road is just on the front gates.

Villa Kendil offers well designed 15 private villas constructed in woods, mixed with local stones in Balinese architectural design with a heavy emphasis on timber wall panelling and furniture. There are two types of villas, noth named after native Indonesian plowers. A stone part winds itself arround the entire property with villas scattered to resemble a small community.

Each villa at Villa Kendil is constructed in 2 storeys, ground floor are living room, kitchen, private bathroom with outdoor shower and bathtub, hot and cold running water. Up-stair is bedroom reached by wooden stairs. Some have closed living room, and others have open living room.

Each villa is equipped with : air condition, private gardens, Television, IDD telephone, mini bar, in house movie, spacious living room with table set and full kitchenette tools.

• Frangipani Villas
  The Frangipani villas at Villa Kendil has two bedroom with capacity of 5 adults, 6x3 sq meters plunge pool. Suitable for family. The main bedroom is atop a spraling wooden staircase revealing a spacious area that draws in natural light from surrounding windows. A double four-poster colonial bed is draped in starched white mosquito netting creaating a romantic ambience that has made the villas popular acmougst honeymooners. The downstairs room feature both a double and single bed unit with a refreshing view of a small gardened courtyard.
  Only larger Frangipani Villas feature a private plunge pool within its compound and allows guest to enjoy a quick dip before freshening up in the adjouning semi-open bathroom. A generous sunken bathtub is ideal for long aromatherapeutic soaks to relieve tire aching muscles.
  
  Each villa is completed by a small kitchenette, refrigerator and dining area giving guests the option to prepare their own meals within their very own "home away from home environment".
  
  
• Lotus Villas
  A one bedroom type, capacity for 2 persons and still space to install extra bed both at ground floor or up-stair. This type of villa has similar in structure and furnishings with focus on the outdoor shower recess. Stone statues of Balinese maidens and symbols of Buddha feature throughout. The unique characteristic of Villa Kendil is that no villas is furnished in exactly the same manner. Over the years the owner has accumulated an interesting collection of wooden furniture and artifacts that have fulfilled the realization to furnish the villas.

Facilities :
Perhaps the best feature of both villas is the open living area that extends into a tropical courtyard filled with shrubs and palms. Alternatively, several villas have their living rooms enclosed with floor to ceiling glass and air-conditioned to give comfort to those guests who suffer from the heat. Furniture is a blend of delicate antiques with chunky primitive pieces. A cushioned Japanese day bed is positioned in front of a television set that is connected up to international channels and in-house films. Vases of freshly arranged flowers scent the living room and add splashed of tropical cour.

Each individual villa is designed around traditional Indonesia architecture and is enhanced by modern amenities and western comforts. Space comfort and your own private home set amidst cool garden and rice fields. Design and layout are such that you may never want to leave the property.

Villa Kendil has a small restaurant that has quite a substantial and varied menu, given the size of the property. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests can enjoy light snacks, pastas, steaks and a delicious selection of Indonesian dishes. Only five dining tables surround a stone inlaid bar and are slightly elevated looking onto the aqua tinted communal swimming pool.
