Alila Manggis Hotel is about 2 hours drive from Bali International airport of Ngurah Rai, 20 minutes drive to nearby town of Klungkung, and within minutes drive to some interesting places such as Besakih temple, Kertagosa, ancient village of Tenganan etc. Staying at Alila Manggis is totally peaceful and relaxed as no shops, restaurant and hawkers you could find outside of the hotel.

Alila Manggis Hotel offers 58 rooms in 34 Superior, 22 Deluxe, and 2 Suites housed within four double-storey buildings face the ocean with clear views across the straits to Nusa Penida.

• Alila Manggis Hotel Suite room; 2 spacious suites located at upper level and corners of the building closest to the beach. Large balconies surround the suites to allow to outdoor dining, lounging, or as a sundeck. The rooms are furnished with a living area, and large entry hall which may be used as dining area. The bathroom include bathtub, separate shower and dressing room.

• Trekking Two to six-hour treks are available at the Alila Manggis in the company of knowledgeable local hotel guides. Trips include a trek to Gumang Hill for stunning views of verdant rice terraces and Mount Agung; Kastala to Tenganan, a trek off the beaten track through rice terraces and small farms to the Bali Aga village of Tenganan, famous for its double ikat weaving and unique basket-making; and the Mount Agung trek for the truly adventurous, a four-hour climb reaching the top in time for sunrise.
• Mountain Biking Mountain bikes are available for hire at the hotel along with maps of suggested routes through the spectacular scenery and villages.

Ceremonies can be organized on the grounds of the Alila Manggis or on the beach in front of the hotel (tides permitting). With advance preparation, the Alila Manggis can prepare for its guests a traditional wedding ceremony, the Balinese nuptial blessing, bridal procession, a cocktail reception and a royal Balinese dinner.

Alila Manggis' swimming pool is a central feature of the resort and is designed as an unusual inverted pyramid. This creates shallow waters around the edges and deep water in the middle.
